About the Opening:
First Federal Savings Bank (First Federal) will open a new full service banking center at 1707 Cedar Grove Road in Cedar Grove, Kentucky. The new office will open for business on Monday, August 18th, with Grand Opening events taking place from Monday, August 25th through Friday, September 5th.
The Cedar Grove location demonstrates First Federal’s commitment to Bullitt County and is the third full service center in the County, joining existing banking centers located at 395 N. Buckman Street in Shepherdsville and 279 N. Bardstown Road in Mount Washington. According to FDIC data, First Federal has more deposits in Bullitt County than any other bank, has grown deposits in the county by 46% over the last five years, and holds ten times the deposit share of all out-of-state bank chains combined.
Cedar Grove in the 20th First Federal retail center, with other Kentucky offices located in Bardstown, Brandenburg, Elizabethtown, Flaherty/Vine Grove, Jeffersontown, Hillview, Munfordville, and Radcliff/Fort Knox, as well as in the Indiana communities of Corydon, Elizabeth, Georgetown, and Lanesville.

| August 18 | Center Opens for Business The community is invited to stop by from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm throughout the week to view the building's beautiful design and to get to know the Cedar Grove banking staff. Each visitor opening a new account will receive a free $50.00 gas card from Five Star Food Mart. |
| August 19 | Cedar Grove Elementary VIP Day Parents and businesses are encouraged to visit the center to make a donation to benefit Cedar Grove Elementary School. First Federal will match all donations received on the 19th up to $1,000. |
| August 25 | Grand Opening Begins Gift certificates from area merchants will be given away every day, free refreshments will be served, and visitors can register to win grand prizes to be given away on September 5th. Participating merchants include Advance Auto Parts, El Tarasco, Great Clips, Heritage Hill Golf, Ridgeview Greenhouse, Rite Aid, Save A Lot, Shepherdsville Florist, SunTan City, and Zappo’s. |
| August 26 | Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Everyone is invited to join the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce for a catered ribbon-cutting ceremony to take place at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, August 26. |
| August 28 | Vikings Football VIP Day Parents and businesses are encouraged to visit the center to make a donation to benefit the Cedar Grove Vikings youth football program. Players and cheerleaders from the Vikings will be on hand to meet visitors at 5:00 pm, and First Federal will match all donations received on the 28th up to $1,000. |
| September 05 | Grand Prize Drawing Ceremony The grand prize drawing ceremony will take place at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 5th. Prizes to be given away include a 42-inch high density television, a laptop computer, a GPS unit, and an iPod® nano with dock and speakers. |
