Berry, Willmoth and Enyart sign proclamations, ask everyone to wear orange on March 6th
ELIZABETHTOWN, KY, February 27, 2009—Hardin County Judge Executive Harry Berry, Elizabethtown Mayor David Willmoth, and Radcliff Mayor Sheila Enyart have signed proclamations declaring the week of March 2-8 2009 Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week in Hardin County (pictured with Keith Johnson, CEO of First
Federal Savings Bank).
The local proclamations are part of the national awareness week declared by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society designed to encourage people to join the movement to end MS and to help people with MS move their lives forward. Every hour, someone is diagnosed with MS, a chronic disease of the central nervous system for which there is no cure. Multiple
sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body and stops people from moving.
The associates of First Federal Savings Bank join our county officials and our CEO Keith Johnson in asking everyone in Hardin County to wear the color Orange on Friday, March 06 2009 to show support for changing the lives of people living with MS in this community and across the country.
Other ways that people of Hardin County can help in the movement include:
Progress on MS can’t wait. Move It during MS Awareness Week and move us closer to a world free of MS.
